Staying Up to Date Print E-mail

 

 

As of 2011, all islanders are encouraged to enroll in the Islands Emergency Alert System. This is a tool that enables emergency responders to send out email, text message, and home phone notices to islanders in a critical emergency. No Spam. This tool will only be used to pass on critical information in major emergencies. Examples might be a wildfire, tsunami warning, or other sudden major event. It will not be used for weather related warnings, unless the event is sudden and significant in nature.

  • MyStateUSA provides county specific updates and warnings specifically related to weather.
